On this date 3 years ago, my Mama went to be with the Lord. It seems like its been forever and I miss her so much. I wish that she was here so bad, but I know that she is so proud - especially since she has a granddaughter now. Mama was such a wonderful, loving, strong person and she loved her Heavenly Father. She inspires me even today to not conform to the world, but to seek God and His will. Through everything, she rested in His peace and the joy He gives. That is what I long to do and that is my prayer for you as you visit us here today. Know the peace and joy that God has and freely offers you today. He loves you so much. That is the legacy my mother has left with me. I thank God for such a precious Mama and I rest in the fact that she and my Savior watch me.
