I got my school placement for the first half of my practicum this semester...I will be at Tiger Creek Elementary School working in kindergarten! I'm excited, but I wasn't expecting to be working with kindergarteners. I have always thought when I teach that I would be in the 4th or 5th grade. The good thing about the program at Dalton is that I will be able to get experience in most of the grades so I will be able to get the feel of each grade. Pretty cool.
Anjie and I have also been praying and we have decided to take the position of Children's Church leaders at Briarwood Baptist. We officially begin in October, but have much preparation to get the program ready in the meantime.
